KCPT Announces New Staff
(KANSAS CITY)—KCPT, Kansas City Public Television, announced new additions to its staff recently.
"I have great confidence in our new staff members to help KCPT continue to successfully serve our community," said Victor Hogstrom, KCPT President and CEO.
Jeff Evans was named KCPT's Vice-President of Broadcasting & Technology. Previously he served as a production engineer from 1995 to 2000, when he was promoted to technical maintenance supervisor.
A native of Kansas City, Evans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1995. He lives in Westwood, KS with his wife and the two youngest of his three children. His elder daughter resides in Portland Oregon. Evans is also an accomplished musician and singer.
Patti Broderick joined KCPT as Director of Major Giving. Prior to joining KCPT, she was a Senior Sales Executive/Real Estate Consultant with Reece & Nichols in Kansas City. Broderick has extensive management experience with firms including United Parcel Service and Burlington Air Express. Other experience includes work in telecom management, program & project management, accounting, and customer service with WorldCom, Sprint, & Airtouch.
She is certified in Project Management, Deming Quality Enhancement, and Facilitative Leadership and completed extensive sales & management training through Reece & Nichols, Sprint, and United Parcel Service.
