RED CARPET WILL ROLL OUT AT 7TH ANNUAL
KCPT TV DINNER THIS FRIDAY
Black-tie benefit for KCPT Kids presented by Colliers Turley Martin Tucker
(KANSAS CITY) On Friday, September 12, 2008, Kansas City Public Television and presenting sponsor, Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, will host the seventh annual KCPT TV Dinner, a benefit for KCPT Kids.
Held on the deck of the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial, the benefit will feature delicious cuisine from more than 20 of Kansas City's top restaurants, all members of the Kansas City Originals, Kansas City's Independent Restaurant Association.
In addition to the local restaurant flavor, guests at this year's TV Dinner will dance the night away to live musical performances from national sensation, Liquid Blue, and local favorites Bob Walkenhorst and Jeff Porter.

TV Dinner: Rain or Shine
With forecasts predicting the "R" word on the night of the TV Dinner event, we want to let you know that plans are in place to allow the party to go on, even in the case of inclement weather. As an open-air event, shelter will be limited, so rain gear is strongly suggested. Food will be served and music—though not necessarily the live bands—will be provided. The only exception to this arrangement would be if lightning were present in the area, in which case preserving the safety of our guests and vendors would be foremost. As a charitable benefit for KCPT Kids, we thank you for your support of TV Dinner.
