You may have noticed we have a new look. It’s more than window dressing. After 55 years as Kansas City’s public television station, today we’re revealing a new logo as part of a brand renovation process.
The dedication to quality programming remains. But in the past two years, KCPT has made significant investments in developing new services that increases our reach and impact in the community. We now have a variety of broadcasting platforms, including the radio station The Bridge, and Flatland, our digital magazine. We are a new multi-level media company housed under one roof.
Watch “Something New is Coming,” a short promo with the new logo in action:
Now known as KCPT, Kansas City PBS, we will unveil new signage on the side of our building at 10am today, Feb. 9, at 125 E. 31st St., Kansas City, Mo. 64108 for our supporters and the public. The redeveloped logo, designed by staff designer Amanda Krenos, represents our multiple streams of content and converge into an iconic river.
