We sent summer interns Kyle Geary and Cody Tapp out to capture an inside look at the new exhibit which opens this weekend at Union Station. Real Pirates tells the true American story of the pirates that lived aboard the Whydah, a pirate ship that sank off the coast of Cape Cod in 1717. The ship was discovered in 1984 by Barry Clifford, an underwater explorer. This National Geographic exhibition tells the history of the ship, the story of the pirates, and features more than 200 artifacts from the ship.
The exhibit runs from June 22, 2013 through January 5, 2014.
