The groundbreaking, sometimes controversial author of “Naked Lunch” lived in Lawrence from 1981 until his death in 1997. During that time he continued to create and collaborate, as the exhibit and a number of special events at the center will bring to light.
Randy Mason and Don “the Camera Guy” Mayberger dropped in as the show was going up. The exhibition runs through March 2, but along the way there are all sorts of screenings, talks and other Burroughs related activities. In April, the Art Center’s annual auction will feature some of the pieces that have been on display.
