As we show you in this edition of the series we call Difference Makers, it’s going to be a big weekend for the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. On Friday, the Museum kicks off this year’s Legends Luncheon series with Willie Wilson and Al Fitzmorris at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center. On Saturday, they will unveil a brand new exhibition that bridges cultures through baseball. On Sunday at Kauffman Stadium, both teams on the field will be wearing throwback uniforms to the days of the Negro Leagues. The Royals will wear Monarchs colors and the Baltimore Orioles will wear the uniforms of the Baltimore Black Sox. And because it is also Dress to the Nines Day at the K, they’re giving away 10,000 Monarchs fedoras.
