Last December, Sandra Campbell performed her one-woman show, "Follow Your Dreams," in front of a live audience at the Gem Theatre. The performance tells the life story of the first known black aviatrix, Bessie Coleman, from her birth in Texas, throughout her hardships, to her decision to leave America and travel to Paris in pursuit of her dreams of flight.
