“An evil act. Three innocent people dead. I am a New Yorker with family in KC and I mourn with all of you. We must all stand together against the hatred.” – Laura Popper, New York
“We join people across the country and around the world in mourning the loss of Reit Underwood, his grandfather William Corporon, and Terri LaManno. The Not In Our Town community stands firmly with the Jewish community of the Kansas City area, and with Jewish people everywhere. Love is stronger than fear and hate. There are so many more good people than there are those who hate. As people in your area gather to remember those who were lost, we stand with you. No hate, no fear, no violence. Not In Our Town.” – Patrice O’Neill, California
“I feel that good triumphs over evil. Kansas City has suffered a severe blow at the hands of a violent, racist individual. However, there is strength in numbers so I hope your city will hold hands and embrace your community’s goodness. There is far more good than evil in this world.” – Nancy Blackburn, Ohio
“Heartfelt condolences for the victims and their loved ones and all Jewish people. Compassion for Mr. Cross, for he is suffering too. His actions have shown just how much.” – Brent M, Missouri
“My thoughts and prayers are with you.” – Leslie Jaszczak, New York
“I am praying for all of you, god bless you, he will get you through this.” – John Daniel, Louisiana
