Doing art activities with infants and toddlers can often seem daunting. “It’s messy,” “They can’t make anything,” and “I don’t have time” are often-heard responses. At a Make Art Meaningful workshop hosted on May 11 at KCPT, teachers engaged with activities with Mary Williams from the Family Conservancy. Williams discussed promoting all areas of development and to create a base of learning for concepts from self control to engineering. More than 30 early childhood teachers from across the metropolitan area took part in the workshop.
