Wyandotte County has one of the highest African American infant mortality rates in the country. That means for every 1,000 live births, over 15 babies died. This week, KCPT special correspondent Sam Zeff examines the issue and the struggle to obtain the information that could help begin alleviating the problem. Also this week, Reporter John McGrath tracks what happens to the clothing people deposit into the bins you might have noticed popping up in parking lots all over town. Randy Mason gets a Middle of the Map Fest preview from Ink’s Ashley Dowgwillo and Sarah Bradshaw from The Bridge. And finally, we take a quick look at the Panama Canal exhibition, which opens next week at the Linda Hall Library.
