Kansas City Symphony

The mission of the Kansas City Symphony is to advance and advocate the art of classical music for the enrichment of our community.

The Kansas City Symphony is a fully professional orchestra of 78 musicians that was incorporated in 1982. During an annual 42-week season, the Symphony presents a wide variety of subscription, educational, touring and community engagement concerts using the full orchestra and smaller ensembles. Total attendance for the 1999-2000 season was 126,290.

Single Ticket prices range from $10 to $55

Tickets may be purchased at the ticket window, at 11th and Central.
Generous discounts are available for seniors and groups, and student rush tickets for $5 are put on sale one hour before curtain.

Accessible seating, assistive listening devices, and Braille and large print programs are available. If interested in these items, patrons are asked to call the ticket office two weeks ahead of the performance date. Lyric Theatre also welcomes support dogs.
