Singer-songwriter Darden Smith performed last week at Yardley Hall in the Carlsen Center on the Johnson County Community College campus as part of his SongwritingWith:Soldiers project. Smith has spent two days at JCCC, conducting songwriting workshops with veteran students. In between his workshops, the Austin, Texas-based musician came to KCPT’s 90.9 The Bridge and performed in the studio.
