Bob Dylan- Live in Newport
Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival 1963-1965 includes unreleased performances filmed by Academy Award-winning director, Murray Lerner. It captures full performances of some of Bob Dylan's greatest songs, including Mr. Tambourine Man; Blowin' In the Wind; It Ain't Me, Babe; Like A Rolling Stone. The Newport Folk Festival takes place in Newport, Rhode Island and is best known for introducing a number of performers who went on to become major stars. Bob Dylan's first Newport appearance in 1963 is generally regarded as his premiere national performance. Dylan became the artist most notably associated with this festival.
His 1963 and 1964 performances made him popular with the Newport crowd, but in 1965, while headlining the music festival, he decided to "plug in" resulting in a mixed response of cheers and boos. Dylan left the stage after only three songs, only to reemerge and sing two solo acoustic numbers. Many of Dylan's folk fans felt he was abandoning his folk roots -- and we have it all captured live on film. For the first time ever, the complete electric set is available. This shift marked his changing artistic direction, making his move from leading contemporary song-writer of the folk scene to rock n' roll star.

The Brain Fitness Program
What we now know about brain function is that we begin to experience decline in most cognitive functions in our 30s and 40s. As we grow older, the rate of decline increases, and the cumulative effects become more noticeable. We have increasing difficulty remembering, paying close attention, responding rapidly, performing complex tasks and our coordination and movement and many other cognitive functions that once came easily are now more difficult. These are symptoms of elemental physical changes in an aging brain. The problem is more than just lapses in memory. There are three root causes of problems in the aging brain: (1) an increasing signal-to-noise problem in processing information collected by our senses, (2) a decline in the production of key brain chemicals and (3) a slowing in processing speed. These problems make it increasingly difficult to accurately receive, store, retrieve and manipulate information received from any of the 5 senses.
The good news is that we can change this! It is not inevitable that we will be in a state of dementia at the time of our death. We know that we need physical exercise to maintain our physical strength throughout our lives, our brain also needs to be exercised in order to retain our mental acuity throughout whatever our life span.
Over 50 neuroscientists have worked to create a system for strengthening the brain and making it perform with more agility, speed and comprehension. The Brain Fitness Program is based on neuro-plasticity -- the ability of the brain to change and adapt -- even rewire itself! The brain remains highly malleable or "plastic" throughout life and by presenting the brain with the proper stimuli scientists can drive beneficial physical and functional change. In the past 2 years, this global team of scientists has developed computer-based stimulus sets (or "exercises") that drive beneficial changes in the brain. This methodology is being expanded to address auditory and visual processing and memory, dealing with complexity, and the neurological basis for difficulties in hand movement, posture, balance and mobility.
The Brain Fitness Program is a program to get your brain in better shape and it is designed to drive beneficial chemical, physical and functional change in the brain. Multiple studies have shown a scientifically valid average improvement of more than 10 years in auditory, memory and cognitive function.
Dr. Michael Merzenich of The University of California San Francisco and his colleagues around the world have been leading this effort so that we can bring the research findings, along with a scientifically-based set of brain exercises in this innovative and life-altering PBS pledge program.

Johnny Cash: A Man and His Vision
The Best of The Johnny Cash Show is a musical and narrative overview of one of the most important and innovative television variety shows in history: celebrating not only the musical genius of one of America's greatest artistic treasures, but also the vision of the man at the helm of a truly distinctive legacy in broadcasting history.
The Johnny Cash Show ran from June 1969 to March 1971, during a time of tremendous contrasts. It started as a summer replacement show and continued on as a prime time regular. At the end of this remarkable run that lasted only 15 months of production, The Johnny Cash Show produced a staggering 57 episodes. His vision was massive, and it's only now that TV screens are wide enough to contain it. Johnny Cash didn't just walk the line. He crossed it week after week.
This show was a revolution on television that brought us all together. The Johnny Cash Show was not only responsible for exposing an American audience to an eclectic array of talent, but established Johnny Cash as a true American superstar, and solidified Cash as a true artist, humanitarian and bigger than life legend for the rest of his career.
Every week, Johnny Cash invited us to "ride that train" with him across state lines, color lines, party lines and the Mason-Dixon line. He had guests on the show that showcased new talent as well as those well established. He invited country as well as rock and roll stars to join him on stage week after week. This eclectic list of performers ranged from Bob Dylan and Neil Young to Loretta Lynn and Bill Monroe to Ray Charles and Charlie Pride. He made stars out of newcomers, and made damn sure that music legends - Country and otherwise - stayed that way.
This was no ordinary TV show and Johnny Cash was no ordinary host. Now it's your turn to join Johnny Cash. To remember back when reality TV meant TV that was real.

Kim Kiyosaki's Finding the Rich Woman in You
Men and women look at money in different ways. Kim Kiyosaki is a successful businesswoman, and the wife of Robert Kiyosaki, the bestselling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Kim knows money and she knows how to teach women about their finances.
Kim Kiyosaki started her business career in advertising and then launched her own clothing company. She later partnered with Robert to teach aspiring entrepreneurs about business. And she didn't stop there—next she created a real estate investment company that manages millions of dollars worth of property. Her latest venture is to bring her knowledge and experience to the Rich Dad franchise started by her husband Robert, but to present it in a way that's accessible to women.
Rich Woman gives you the same principles of money and investing as the Rich Dad series, but it also tackles the very real issues that women face when it comes to finance. Women often have less time than men, and often earn less money doing the same jobs that men do. Kim walks you through all these issues, but she doesn't let women be gender victims. She's all about overcoming obstacles and teaching women the fine art of analyzing deals, and picking the right people to work with. And as the subtitle "Because I Hate Being Told What To Do" suggests, she does it all with a sense of community and spirit.
