Ferdinand Heim

PH Kumpf sold Heim the Kump brewery, which was at that time the Kansas City's largest brewery in 1884.

The facility at 14th and Main wasn't quite big enough, so the Heim's purchased an old sugar mill building and begin construction of what would become an immense brewery.
