On Saturday, Sept. 9, Kansas City PBS brought home three golden 2017 Mid-America Regional Chapter EMMY® Awards. Our multiple-month series, Public Works? The Cost of Our Aging Infrastructure, received two awards: Informational/Instructional/Program Special for the entire series, and Public/Current/Community Affairs — Program Special for the in-depth video, 'Water Rates and Rivers.' The video series Ferment Nation also won an award for Informational/Instructional — Feature Segment.
The nominations are based on outstanding cultural, educational, technological, entertainment, news and informational achievements in television.
