There’s a dedicated KCPT audience who fancies all things British and gives gifts in support of our programs from across the pond. Kansas City PBS purchases programs from the BBC and Acorn, as well as adding in Australian favorites, to keep our schedule full of viewing options. Thank you for making your donation to help us bring those programs to you and your Kansas City neighbors!

Our annual event to celebrate all things British happened this past February, with over 150 KCPT guests coming together at the 1900 Building. Featuring hats, trivia and history, KCPT supporters heard from local experts on the history of Victorian food (Andrea Broomfield, Ph.D.) and the British fashion of the ’60s (Betsy Blodgett). All leading to our annual trivia contest, hosted by Nick Haines and Lindsey Foat.

Thank you to our event sponsor, the 1900 Building, as well as Rimann Liquors, The Restaurant at 1900, the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Craig Sole Designs, Brits of Lawrence, Anna Marie’s Teas and the Midwest Tea Festival.
